Why "GaCo"?
We are named the Garrett Coalition because our team members come together from two different high schools. 'GaCo' is a shortened nickname. Our colors are blue for Northern and red for Southern.
About Us
Since 2004, our team has been comprised of students from Northern Garrett and Southern Garrett High School. We are based in Accident, Maryland and our mission is to provide each young person in Garrett County and the surrounding Appalachia with the catalyst required to develop skills that are essential to be successful in STEM.
